Become a CPR / MFA Instructor

Becoming an IKO/MFA First Aid and CPR Instructor is easy. The Instructor training program allows you to teach the IKO/MFA basic program.

Entry level: be a IKO/MFA First Aid and CPR Provider.

During your training, you will receive the following material:

  • A complete binder including the basic program guidelines, talk-through scenarios, performance evaluations and administrative tools
  • 1 self study tape
  • 1 emergency care pocket manual
  • 1 emergency care manual
  • 1 emergency care reference manual
    • Step 1: Provider Training
      You must first attend and successfully complete the student-level training for the programs you wish to teach. This will provide you with an understanding of the course’s contents and the physical skills necessary to be able to perform effective emergency care.
    • Step 2: Instructor Training Class
      You will improve your abilities to perform emergency care and will be introduced to the technical and administrative knowledge required to function productively as a MEDIC FIRST AID Instructor. You will learn how to manage a basic course by doing simulations in small groups or in real situations during a basic course.
      You will become comfortable with the practical use of the instructional elements found in the MEDIC FIRST AID training programs including instructors and student’s guides, small group practices, talk-through scenarios, and performance evaluations

Who can you train with the IKO/MFA basic instructor’s certification?
Anyone: the instructor candidates, instructor assistants, the employees of an industrial company who need to comply with regulations or to set up an emergency plan.

What material is needed to train IKO/MFA First Aid and CPR Providers?
IKO/MFA basic course instructors must teach the course according to the guidelines using the appropriate video and to provide 1 MFA basic manual per trainee and an IKO/MFA certificate of recognition.

Cost:

  • 1st option: basic provider and instructor course: 250 U$ / 225 €
  • 2nd option (for MFA provider’s): instructor course: 180 U$ / 162 €

Instructor’s package: 10 basic manuals including IKO/MFA certificate of recognition, wallet skill guide, provider certification card + 1 CPR manikin + Course video) Cost: 510 U$ / 450 €
