Instructor Equivalency

PASA, FAV and FEV instructors now have the opportunity to follow a 3 day course and obtain an IKO instructor level 1 equivalency. Since this course is targeted to experienced instructors only, half of the level 2 diploma has been integrated in this course, allowing the instructors to quickly become level 2 and request the IKO affiliation for their center.

To attend an Instructor Equivalency Course, candidates must supply:

1. A copy of his Instructor diploma
2. A copy of his boat license (if required in his working country)
3. A letter of recommendation and a justification of 1 year of teaching experience (be at least 19 years old)
4. A copy of a valid first aid and CPR certificate
